Sponsors
Our work has been supported by partners who believed in the early stages of The Realm of Possibility. This page highlights key sponsors by year and project, and links to original materials that helped fund and launch Possibility Profiles and problem based career exploration.
Harvard Global Health Institute (2012)
In 2012, the Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) was one of the first institutional sponsors of The Realm of Possibility.
HGHI supported the development of a career guidance platform for global health, grounded in the idea that students can frame their aspirations around the problems they wish to address. Staff at HGHI met with Jason Outlaw and his colleagues, provided strategic feedback, and endorsed the project as an innovative model for helping students navigate global health careers.
Their formal letter of support recognized the potential of Possibility Profiles and problem-based exploration to transform how learners think about education, careers, and global challenges.
Harvard School of Dental Medicine (2014)
In 2014, the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) became a major sponsor of The Realm of Possibility.
The Deanβs Office funded a round of 14 Possibility Profiles, which were created for Harvard students and advisors and featured on the HSDM website for seven years. These profiles helped learners explore oral health and global health careers through the problems they care about, rather than just a list of job titles.
This support from HSDM provided both financial backing and public visibility, and showed how academic institutions can use Possibility Profiles to guide students toward meaningful, problem-centered work.
Additional sponsors will be added as new partnerships and funding rounds are completed. If your organization is interested in sponsoring Possibility Profiles or related projects, please contact us at contact@oral-health.org
